Princess Yachts ist eine der angesehensten Marken der Marine. Das Werk in Plymouth im Südwesten Englands mit über 2000 Mitarbeitern stellt seit 1965 Motorboote her. Das breite Modellprogramm wird ständig weiterentwickelt und reicht von 40 bis 95 Fuß, d. H. von 13 bis 29 Metern.
YARD
Princess Yachts wurde 1965 in einem Industriegebäude in der Newport Street in Plymouth von dem ehemaligen Marineoffizier David King gegründet, der immer noch im Unternehmen tätig ist. Dies reduziert das Gewicht, verbessert den Kraftstoffverbrauch und die Leistung und optimiert zusätzlich das interne Volumen. Ein steiferer und stärkerer Aufbau ermöglicht mehr Glas in der Konstruktion, was für mehr Licht im Innenraum und ein grösseres Anzahl Panoramafenster ermöglicht.
Der weltberühmte Schiffsdesigner Bernard Olesinski war an dem Rumpfkonzept beteiligt und Jedes Detail des Aufbaus für alle neuen Princess Boote seit mehr als 30 Jahren. Dies hat in der supereffizienten Hybridtechnik der neuesten Modelle kulminiert. Princess tife V Rumpf bietet stabile, sichere und komfortable Segeltörns für Gäste und Crewmitglieder an Bord.
Im Jahr 2008 wurde Princess Yachts International von L Capital 2 FCPR, einer Investmentgruppe von LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) und Groupe Arnault, übernommen. Im Jahr 2023 wurde die Mehrheit der Princess Yachts-Aktien von der US-amerikanischen Private-Equity-Gesellschaft KPS Capital Partners übernommen, die die KPS Special Situations Funds verwaltet, eine Gruppe von Investmentfonds mit einem Vermögen von mehr als 14,4 Milliarden US-Dollar.

I våra utställningshallar visas nya Princess yachts och rekondade begagnade båtar till salu. Det är som en båtmässa inomhus året om. För dem som skall specificera sin nya båt brukar det vara uppskattat att kunna se olika alternativ i verkligheten och ett besök i visningshallen kan ge värdefull inspiration. Vi säljer också olika tillbehör såsom Princess accessoarer, gummibåtar och andra båttillbehör.
BÅTPLATSER & MARINA
Besökare hälsas välkomna till oss både via land- och sjövägen. I våra marinor har vi båtar till salu och kan erbjuda båtplatser. Vid levereras av både nya och begagnade båtar har vi utbildning och teknisk genomgång av båten tillsammans med nya ägaren och nyblivna ägare får gärna ligga kvar i vår marina under en tid om man vill passa på att utforska skärgården innan man beger sig hemåt.
SERVICEVARV & VERKSTAD
Våra mekaniker i verkstaden har stor kunskap för rekond, service och efterinstallationer. Vi utför plastreparationer, snickeriarbeten, service, motor- och drevrenoveringar, lackering och tapetsering mm. Vi gör i ordning våra inbytesbåtar och erbjuder ett premium förmedlingsprogram på de begagnade båtarna vi säljer. Vi har möjlighet att göra efterinstallationer, tex ankarspel och Humphree.
VINTERFÖRVARING
Om ni inte använder er båt året om så bör båten tas på land under vintern och få chansen att torka upp ordentligt. Allra bäst är det med vinterförvaring i varmhall där båten står i plusgrader. Alternativet är att man låter båten torka upp ordentligt, tex några dagar inomhus medan service och rekonditionering utförs, för att sedan förvaras i kallhall eller intäckt utomhus. Vi organiserar gärna det hela för er. Ni lämnar och hämtar båten vid kaj – eller så ordnar vi det – smidigt och bekvämt för ett härligt båtliv.
REKONDITIONERING
Regelbunden service av motorer och system ombord är A och O för ett glädjefyllt båtliv. Även om båten inte är helt ny kan man genom rekond skapa känslan av ”ny-båt”. Genom lång erfarenhet har vi blick för vilka åtgärder som ger eftersökt effekt. Tillsammans med dig utarbetar vi en åtgärdsplan som offereras och utförs av oss eller någon av våra samarbetspartners. Vi inspekterar arbetet och stämmer av mot checklista. När det är dags för leverans är det bara att njuta av resultatet.
TEKNISK SUPPORT
När något oförutsett inträffar är det viktigt att man som båtägare kan få hjälp, även under sommaren. Därför är våra kunder alltid välkomna att höra av sig till oss för professionell service och support. Kanske behövs bara lite guidning eller så får vi arrangera ett besök, antingen med egen personal eller så engagerar vi någon av de verkstäder vi samarbetar med. Vi har också ett stort kontaktnät bland leverantörerna i marinbranschen så att reservdelar och teknisk support alltid finns nära till hands.

Lass uns besprechen, was für Sie und Ihre Familie bei der Suche nach einem Boot wichtig ist, und wir werden unser Bestes tun, um das Boot für Sie zu finden und den Kaufprozess zu einer positiven Erfahrung zu machen. Wir erstellen einen Kaufvertrag und sorgen dafür, dass Ihnen als neuem Eigner des Bootes alle notwendigen Unterlagen ausgehändigt werden. Zum Beispiel geht es oft darum, eine Urkunde zu erstellen, Immobilien zu übertragen, etwa zu versichern.
ZUBEHÖR
Fehlt Ihrem Boot eine Ausrüstung, die Sie kaufen möchten? Wir können sowohl Verkauf als auch Installation von Zubehör anbieten. Vielleicht ein GSM-Tracker oder ein Bootsalarm? Upgrade des Navigationssystems mit einer am Kartenplotter angeschlossenen Rückfahrkamera oder AIS? Wenn Sie mit der Farbkomposition nicht zufrieden sind, können wir Kissen, Bettdecken und neue Matten oder Vorhänge einbauen. Fällt es Ihnen schwer, das Boot zu trimmen, das Boot nicht zum Planen zu bringen oder leiden Sie an Seekrankheit? Lass uns vollautomatischen Trimmplan mit Stabilisierungssystem montieren.
TEKNISK GENOMGÅNG OCH UTBILDNING
I god tid innan levereras sjösätts båten och vi utför en grundlig funktionskontroll och testkörning för att försäkra oss om att allting ombord fungerar. Därefter är det dags för teknisk genomgång och utbildning tillsammans med båtens nya ägare. Vi rekommenderar att hela familjen är med vid överlämningen där vi tillsammans har en noggrann test av båt och utrustning. Efter utbildning, träning och en tillfredsställande provkörning, kan ni flytta ombord och stanna som gäst i marinan den första natten. Det brukar bli ett antal frågor som vi gå igenom nästa dag.
BOOT ERMITTLUNG
Wir vermitteln Ihr aktuelles Boot als Bootsmakler. Wir sind spezialisiert auf den Verkauf von überholten Booten sowie von Booten in allgemein gutem Zustand, unabhängig von Typ und Marke. Nach einem langen Leben in der Marineindustrie verfügen wir über ein großes Netzwerk, das wir national und international für den Verkauf von Booten nutzen können. Nach einer Marktstudie können die Voraussetzungen sowie eventuelle Renovierungsarbeiten besprochen werden, um das Boot zum Verkauf anzubieten. Sobald das Boot-Upgrade abgeschlossen, gewartet und einsatzbereit ist, können wir ein professionelles Verkaufsmaterial erstellen, das Fotografie, Videomaterial und Ausrüstungsliste enthält, und dann mit dem Verkaufsprozess beginnen.

TRANSPORT
Kanske vill man som köpare ha hjälp med transporten hem. Ibland kan det handla om att ta båten från ett land eller kust till ett annan. Vi har goda förbindelser med transportörer som kan frakta båten på trailer eller skeppare som kan segla båten om man föredrar sjövägen. Vi rekommenderar dock att man innan hemtransporten tar tillvara på överlämningsproceduren som förutom träning och bekantskap med den nya båten även ger tillfälle att själv testa att all utrustning fungerar. Vi vill ge en stabil grund till en njutbar tillvaro på din nya båt!

With a key involvement in the development process in Plymouth, the team can help you understand the detail and design intent for each model, ensuring the styling specification will translate and the customer’s vision is realised. This can be as detailed as a client demands and can be tailored to meet specific budget requirements.
In Princess Yachts West Sweden/Norway/Denmark headquarter in Vindön everyone buying a new boat will be able to explore their choice of styling in four experience rooms with different themes including wood, stones, fabrics and accessories.
