PRINCESS YACHTS NORWAY UNITED

Princess Yachts based in Plymouth, England, is one of the largest global manufacturers of high-performance motor yachts, ranging from 35ft-130ft including the M Class, X Class, F Class, V Class, S Class and R Class yachts. Princess Yachts, founded in 1965, now has 3,200 employed in Plymouth and reported a turnover of £340m in 2018.

Princess Yachts West Sweden AB, Princess Yachts West Norway AS and Princess Yachts Denmark ApS as a group are headed up by CEO Benny Martinsson. “We are proud to be the distributor for Princess Yachts in these territories where we have our own offices, showrooms and marinas.”  The group’s headquarters are in West Sweden, where we have our own production facility to carry out all types of repairs.

The group sells boats with a combined value of approximately NOK 350 million and currently employs 21 highly skilled people. On 1st April 2020, Vollen Båtsenter, the highly regarded Princess distributor based near Oslo, also became part of this family. We welcome Eva Dammen and Stein Ulltveit-Moe onboard. They bring a wealth of Princess knowledge and industry experience that will help strengthen the whole group. Due to this expansion, we will now change the company name to Princess Yachts Norway AS. The Oslo department of Princess Yachts Norway AS, will retain the offices at Vollen Marina to support both new and existing Princess customers.

We are now in the process of restructuring and merging our internal processes and we ask for your understanding over this short period of transition. All operations will continue as usual in terms of new boat sales, brokerage of used boats, retrofit and aftersales support. We are delighted that Princess Yachts Norway AS has such knowledgeable staff with years of experience in assisting all our Princess customers throughout the Norwegian coast and in addition to West Sweden and Denmark.

Aftersales support is very important to us and our customers in West Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Seweryn Jæger is responsible for the sale of parts and is constantly working to not only strengthen our warehouse at our headquarters in West Sweden, but also to ship parts out globally. By merging into one company in Norway, we are confident that we will be able to offer the very best sales and customer service for Princess within the territory. We really value all of our customers and look forward to doing our part to further strengthen and support the Princess family in Scandinavia.
